Reclaim old Amazon Music

Amazon have just launched their Autorip service which allows anyone who buys a physical CD (do they still exist?) to download the MP3s for free too.

How it works:

• Eligible physical albums (including CD, vinyl, and other formats) that are shipped and sold by Amazon include an AutoRip logo on the detail page.
• After you purchase an eligible album, an MP3 version of that album is added to your music library. The MP3 is added within 48 hours after your order has shipped.

Amazingly this also applies to any old albums that you will have bought on Amazon. So, if you've lost an old CD or simply want the MP3 copies of your favourite CDs then you're in luck.

Here's how to find if you've got any hidden songs from your past:

• Head to Amazon Cloud Player
• Log in
• Bingo!
• You can then stream or download your tracks

Over here at the STS office we've found some amazing songs that some of the team bought in their youth including So Solid Crew (please don't judge us....)
