Santander free 4 year railcard

You can get a free 4-year railcard (worth £100) if you use this trick. Just open a savings account with Santander.

How to claim your free railcard:

• You must be aged 20 to 25 on 30th June
• Live in the UK
• Don't already have a railcard from Santander (for example via the student account)
• If eligible, you need to open a Santander savings account like this one
• Put at least £50 into the account as soon as possible
• Keep the money in the account until 30th June, or until you get the railcard
• Register for online of mobile banking by 31st May
• You'll then be sent a code to redeem your free railcard
• Then you can take the money out of the savings account if you need to

This offer is available to new and current Santander customers. The railcard will save you 1/3rd on rail travel, so it's well worth it, especially as it's free.

If you're a younger student, don't forget you can also get a free railcard via the student bank account too.
