Free 4K upgrades for previously purchased Google Play movies

Google Play are in the process of upgrading previously purchased SD and HD movies to 4K (where available).

How to find any upgraded 4K movies in your library:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Play Movies & TV app
  • Tap 'library'
  • Tap 'upgraded to 4K'
  • The upgraded movie will automatically play in the highest quality available for your device
