Skullcandy was founded by Rick Alden whilst riding a chairlift on a snowboarding trip in 2003.
Rick decided the world needed better headphones. Today, they are one of the world's largest headphone brands and have numerous partnerships with other brands and athletes such as surfer Coco Ho, snowboarder Anna Gasser and skateboarder Jenn Soto.
